Trace tab is not visible

HI All,

IDM 7.2 sp8

i have been assigned the privilege MX_PRIV:WD:TAB_TRACE through a role and the option 'Enable trace' is tick marked in IC->options

I have searched through all documents: IDM Solution guide, Update guide, Security guide and all blogs. But none addresses the issue.

could you please help on the same.

Hello Plaban,

the "Trace" tab is a part of the admin UI, not the normal UI. Did you check there? Sometimes it's the small things...

.

I believe there is also an associated privilege.

@Matt: Yep, MX_PRIV:WD:TAB_TRACE. But Plaban said, that's what he assigned himself, so I'd say (if it's in OK state), that should not be the problem here.

Have you designated an identity to be traced? You'll find the trace data in the Trace Table (MX_TRACE?) or in the Admin WebUI.

Hi Matt,

global constants MX_TRACE and MX_TRACE_ENTRY have values. And did you mean IDMV_MXI_TRACE* views . Because i did not find any table named MXi_TRACE

There's a table also, at least one, since views are based on tables.
