Total sample size determination issue for created inspection lot

Dear Sir/Mam,

I am new to SAP S4HANA QM module. While processing inspection lot, I am facing one issue for sample size determination. 

I have 3 MIC in my inspection plan with different sample sizes. Ex. MIC A with sample size 3 PC, MIC B with Sample size 5 PC and MIC C with Sample size 1 PC. 

Total Sample size for lot is supposed to be 9 PC but why is system considering only 5 PC sample size and not 9 PC for inspection lot? During stock posting as well system is considering only 5 PC sample size 

Could you please help to resolve this issue ?

Hello Shrikant,

Within the inspection plan, please check whether there is a partial sample value entered or whether it's blank for each characteristic. If each characteristic requires a unique sample, please enter a unique number for the partial sample. For example, characteristic 10 needs partial sample 1, characteristic 20 needs partial sample 2 and characteristic 30 needs partial sample 3. SAP will then add all the partial samples together to determine the total sample size for the operation.

If partial sample numbers have not been included for the characteristics, SAP will determine the largest sample needed for all the characteristics in the operation and use that to set the sample size for the operation.
