Hi Mithun,

From the screenshot, it looks like you are using a Universe data source with longitude and latitude configured as separate dimensions. You need to model your Universe such that latitude and longitude are attributes of a single dimension (like City). Please refer to the following blog post that explains the required setup in detail:

Design Studio 1.5 Geo Map Component Configuration with SAP BIP Universes

Hi Mustafa,

Thanks Much for you time and answer! I'm not getting the message(Too much data) anymore. However the Latitude and Longitude drop down in the Additional Properties are still empty. I tried to close and open the application. Is there anything i'm still missing?

Please let me know if I should be opening a separate question?

Thanks Again!

MK

Hi Mithun,

Did you follow all of the instructions in the blog I referenced? Have you defined the longitude and latitude as attributes of a dimension?

Can you provide a screenshot of your new initial view after making the changes specified in the blog?

Regards,

Mustafa.

Hi Again!

Yes I did follow the article and added the Attribute(Latitude and Longitude) in rows and also looked at your article of one geo dimension in one DS. Attached are the images. Please let me know at your convenince what is that I'm missing here.

Hi Mithun,

This is very unusual indeed. The universe appears to be configured as per the blog. Although it's not entirely clear from the blog, I am wondering if for universes the geo dimension has to be literally named "Location Id"? Although this doesn't make sense, perhaps you could try it as a last resort just to rule it out?
