Too many rows for the entry screen in Planning Layout for TPM

Hi All

i'm responsible for the integration BW-BPS/CRM in a Trade Promotion Management project.

I found a problem due to the probable limitation of the planning layouts provided for TPM. To be more exact the high number of product inserted in a Trade Promotion causes the following error in the DHTML "Too many rows for the entry screen".

Anyone knows if there are thechnical constraints about that or any workaround to bypass the problem?

I m not saying to delete a char, i m just suggesting a change in the position of the same.

Deleting a char from standard is something that i would not endorse.

The maximum rows allowed in a BPS planning layour is 10,000. In ur case if the rows that r generated r more than 10,000 pls remove one of the char from lead column to the header.

This would solve ur problem as while executing the layout the system would first apply a filter on header char value and then generate the planning layout.

first of all thanks a lot for your reply.

I already set the chars of the lead columns as not relevant for display but i don't know how to delete some of them.

I'm working with standard layouts provided for TPM: Isn't risky to delete some chars from that layouts?
