Ticket Verifier for Lotus Domino R5 Implementation

Hi,

We've a Portal server in intranet and a domino server which is open to world. I need to integrate Basic Lotus Applications with Portal. For this purpose I've done the following steps:

1. Installed Ticket Verifier as described in http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/36/eda379a99eb74fbd79dfb2745b415a/content.htm

NOTE: Have suspect about entering Internet Protocols - HTTP - DSAPI filter name. There is a default entry which looks that is says no filter is active. We didn't delete it, just pressed enter and give full path to c:\winnt\system32\ds_ticket.dll

-

2. appiled all steps for LDS-D Comp. installation as described at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e2/80abba1fa3d2489ad696a451f0710a/content.htm

NOTE: Also have suspect, because after doing all standart settings given in document, test to access http://<hostname>:<port>/<servletDirectory>/CalendarServlet return page not found (404) error. I gave /servlet as servlet directory both in domino and transport setting.

3. Created a database with name wmr_inbox.nsf which points to inbox of lotus.

4. my portal username is "hhbilgen" and i mapped this user to an existing lotus user "lotususer", also add "hhbilgen" username to lotus users username area.

5. When i display the iview it asks user/passwd.

My portals hostname is pordev and i added DNS suffix company.com.tr so it is pordev.company.com.tr. Its ip starts with 172.*

my domino servers IP starts with 195.* and its hostname is domino.company.com.tr

is there any wrong step or missed step that i have to check?

regards

As soon as you log into the portal, it creates a cookie called MYSAPSSO2. This is the single sign on token.

However you really do not need to worry about whether this cookie is created. If you enabled the debug messages on the DSAPI Filter on the Domino server side, it will display it has received the cookie when you connect for SSO.

Hi,

I've setted the Debug option of DSAPI filter on domino server and restarted whole server.

After i tried to logon portal and checked the domino messages, but no SSO attempt exists in console logs.

We're using Release 6.5.1IF1 of Domino.

I've checked servlets.properties, notes.ini and files. Everything seems OK on domino side. ON Portal Side, I've created a system with name Lotus and gave system alians Lotus also. System user management setted to SAPLOGONTICKET and mail server points my domino server.

I've created a lotus transport and fill information about my domino server.

Then I've created an iview for com.sap.netweaver.col.appl.gw.

How can i solve this problem?

Hi,

Do you mean that no debug message was printed on the domino console? If so I would request you to contact SAP Primary support to get the latest version of the DSAPI DLL. Once you get any messages (or errors) on the domino server side, SAP support should be able to solve your specific problem.

Hi Huseyin,

I have done the similar integration as a POC and worked

successfully.

Here is what I have already followed.

[Michael Sambeth is the expert in this area]

Looks like you are implementing Scenario 1 of the how to guide above.

<b>If I remember correctly [about an year ago]I have created an URL iview to access the domino mail/calendar URL directly. Also made sure an alias id is defined on the Lotus side to match the user id of the portal.</b>

I have n't played a whole lot on NW04 especially groupware, but by configuring the Lotus transport you

can send an email directly from portal (Pre-delivered iViews like "send mail" etc]

Hello Huseyin,

please perform the following simple test to validate the SAP ticketverifier installation correctness:

(1) log on to SAP Enterprise Portal with http://<portalserver>.company.com/irj

(2) replace the adress of the browser with http://<dominoserver>.company.com/names.nsf

You should be authenticated by the DSAPI and the name and adressbook should be displayed.

Regarding the servlet: did you properly maintain the file servlets.properties? Please verify.

Hi Michael,

My portal address is http://host.company.com.tr:50000/irj/

i'm logging in with a user whose username is defined in domino. then i changed address as you mentioned to

http://host.compant.com.tr/names.nsf

bu it asks username passwd. If the procedure is correct, then something may be wrong, i'll check it.

on the other hand, is there any debugging procedure about this?

Hi Huseyin,

For the LDS-D Component

1. See if Java Servlet support is enabled in the server document (it is disabled by default. To enable go to the server document->Internet Protocols->Domino Web Engine->Java Servlet support to Domino servlet manager

2. See if the servlet directory exists and the required jar file for LDS-D have been copied here.

3. See if the servlets.properties file is present in the domino data directory and has the required entries as per documentation

Now please restart the server and check connectivity with the servlet.

=========

For DSAPI Ticket Verifier,

1. you can try to enable the debug mode by adding an entry MySapDebug=true in the notes.ini to check debug messages. Except for some very old versions of the dll you should get debug messages dumped on the screen.

2. Please check whether you have downloaded the verify.pse file from the Keystore administration of the portal and copied it to the lotus\domino folder. Also check whether you have added the entry MySapPsePath=c:\lotus\domino\verify.pse to your notes.ini.

3. Also check whether you have updated the person document of the required user by adding the portal username as an alias.

Now shutdown the server and then start it again for changes to take effect (sometimes simple restarts do not work)

Hi,

another question, how can i check whether portal server creates the cookie?
