i would like to know the lowest bw system version which could use S/4 hana as source system. Can BW7.0 use S/4 hana as source system? where I could find the official documentation? Thanks!

You will find your answer in note 2251604 . Have a look at the attachment. NW7.31 is a requirement for BW, EP and PI.
