We have reinstalled a new solution manager system, now with the SID of PSM. Our previous on-prem solution manager is now disabled. Managed system setup has been done for our S4 systems, using the new AWS solman, PSM. I am now trying to change managed systems' SDCCN source flag to the new solution Manager. I can not determine the proper way to do that.

Managed system setup has been done for our S4 systems.  I am now trying to change SDCCN source flag destinations to point to the new solution Manager.   I can not determine the proper way to do that.  I reviewed these:

but they were not specific to my issue.

In our SD1 S4 system, SDCCN – Goto settings --> Task specific, the old PSO solution manager system is still listed as the “source”.  I would like to follow the proper sequence to remove the old PSO solution manager, to the new PSM solution manager in sdccn of all of our managed systems.

Please advise.

Hi Customer,

Greetings from SAP Product Support.

I would like to recommend the following order to set the source flag to your new solman in SD1 SDCCN:

1. Delete the old BACK RFC pointing to the old PSO solution manager system that listed as the “source” in the managed system's SDCCN.
2. Delete the old BACK RFC that points to the old PSO system in the managed system in SM59.
3. Ensure the Managed System Configuration setup steps are finished without any error in your new solman.
4. Add the New BACK RFC destination manually in SDCCN in your managed system and set the "Source" flag via SDCCN->Goto -> Settings -> Task specific -> RFC destinations -> Settings -> Destinations)

Hope the above helps to clarify.

Sincerely,
Yuki
