Hello experts,
We're using CBTA performing automatic test and when some tests failures, an email is provided to responsible of test case. I would like to automate this step and create an record (defect or incident) after some test errors from cbta occurred.
Best Regards,
Warlei
Hello,
With the help of Test Plan and Test Package, in case your script gets failed or throw an error message, the same can be created through Tester worklist
SM_Workcenter --> Test Management --> Tester Worklist. Select a Test Plan, Test Package, and a select Test case that has failed appropriately. Click on "Create Error Message" which navigates to ITSM for defect creation.
However, for automation of this step as well, we might have to do some kind of customization as there is no standard option is there.
Please let me know if this helped you understand.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Danish
