Hello,
My infopackage at one point had two targets to choose from; 1) My AP Cube and 2) My AP ODS
It appears I have somehow changed something because now the only TARGET option in my info package is the ODS.
What exactly triggers the data target to appear as a selectable option inside the infopackage??
Thank-you.
Ahh, I looked at the data flow and sure enough it flows through the ODS first and then into the Cube. It is not SIMILTANEOUS. So what should trigger the update from the ODS into the CUBE? I guess I assumed it was automatic as soon as the ODS was loaded.

Hi patrick,
You can check the ODS to see if it has setting to automatically load the data targets. Still as you are using process chains you can follow one of the following approaches:
1. Load data to your ODS and activate it and then use process for further update.
2. Load data to the ODS, actiavte it and then use an Infopackage for load to the cube.
Hope this helps...
Hi folks,
Yes the update rules are indeed active and are showing the green icon... plus when I open them they show 'active'. Do you think I should reactivate to somehow trick the system or do you think it is something else?

Hi Patrick,
changes to the Info Cube sometimes deactivate the update rules which might cause this problem..
Make sure you have active update rules between the Infosource and cube.
This should solve your problem

Hi Patrick,
You can check to see if the update rule still exist, for load to your cube from this infosource.
