hi,
I have a table in my report - the table header is in the page header section and the table details are in the details section.
bellow the table i have more data in sections Report Footer a/b.
when the table details grows, it pushes the data in Report Footer a/b to the next page but i still have the header of the table on the top of the second page.
i have tried to use the page number parameter in order to supress the page header in all pages greater then 1 but the value in the page number parameter is 1 although i am in page 2.
is there another way i can cancel the repeating table header on every page.
thanks, udi
Hi,
A report header should be used if at all you would like your header to appear only once in your report. (it is a best practise)
However, if you insist on using Page header only.. then right click on the page header and select Format Text.. write a conditional suppress formula like pagenumber > 1;
or
If you only want it once, then the report header is the place to put it.
It shouldn't affect the page header. I can see the first page header being affected, but you can just put a 'print page before' in the section expert. Then you should only see it once and everything should display as desired...I think.
