System not appearing in Visual composer

Hi all,

i have created a system on my portal to connect the R/3 backend, system is working fine but when i access visual composer by following way :

http://ep62:50100/VC

and clicks on find data, i am unable to find the system created by me, does anyone know why this is happening??

Have you set the right permissions and created a system alias for the system?

Hi,

yes have set system alias as well as set right permission,actually i did same thing on another server there it worked properly but on other one its not working,so i am not getting what is the problem.

Hi,

please check in your system definition (from portal side) - what is the type of system you have specified. Set it as SAP R/3 or SAP BW and then check the VC page for both the cases. I can remember for seeing BAPIs in VC it requires one type (eith R/3 or BW) and for seeing Queries it requires the other type. I cant remember which one was exactly - but if you try both the ways your problem might be resolved.

Please refresh the VC page after changing the System Type property of the portal system object.
