Hello all how to creat System DSN using Iqdsn command line iam able to create only user dsn
thanks
Request clarification before answering.
iqdsn is basically the same tool as dbdsn. To create a system DSN, simply use the -ws
switch instead of -w
. For example:
iqdsn -ws MySystemDsn -c "<connection string>"

In addition to Graeme's actual answer to your question, here's a tip...
Google is your friend; this search
iqdsn site:sybase.com
leads directly to this page: Data Source utility (iqdsn)
FWIW, last night the whole infocenter site was unavailable, but still... Google is your friend 🙂

This forum is for questions about SQL Anywhere. I'm not sure you are going to get anyone here that knows anything about iqdsn?
In case there is someone here that knows anything about iqdsn, please tell us:
And to help us, please post the usage output from iqdsn - maybe it is just a rename of dbdsn?
