Hello,I have a database that has records that when entered, the date of entry is also entered. I want a report, from this database, where the details show only the record from the latest date. There is a date field that can be used to surpress all details that aren't from the most current date. Is there a formula that I could use to supress the records that aren' from the most current date?Thank you for any help!Robert

You can use the group selection formula to get the latest record / latest per group. e.g.

//single record{table.field} = maximum({table.field})

//single record per group{table.field} = maximum({table.field}, {table.group_field})

And what magical database are you talking about?And why do you want to suppress records instead of writing a proper sql statement that only pulls in the latest record
