Sum showing wrong value in Bex Designer output

Hi

In my BI BEx Designer report output i have columns:

1. PO

2. PO Item

3. Qty

4. Unit Cost

5. Total Cost ( = Qty * Unit Cost)

For Total Cost, I created a Bex formula = NODIM(qty) * NODIM(Unit Cost)

Problem is Sum for all Total Costs should be 401.61 but showing wrong value which is 4,496.16.

I don't know where i am doing wrong, Could u pls. help me out.

Hi Harpal,

do you have a formula collision? since you don't provide any information on the rows or the values for each individual qty/cost, it is hard to say what is going on in here.

how many rows of data are you pulling? is there additional calculation going on?

Please select the for total cost in query designer , under the properties select calculations and in that select calculate result as Total. Hope this helps.
