Hi,
on Windows hosts, SUM, can read donwload directory (XML stack file, .SAR archive, ect) from a network mapped drive? When I browse drive list, I can't see my network drive. Is it unsupported?
Regards.
Hi
Do you have any space in the network path share? try to copy the downloaded SUM media to the local disk and then start the upgrade
Regards

Hi,

No, and it's mapped as a drive letter, Z:, but Z: it's not browsable from SUM when I need to select download directory.

of course, SUM runs from local path (T:\usr\sap\<SID>\SUM).
you can not use a mapped network drive on your local workstation check out sumguide
Disk space in the file system for the SUM directory, the download directory, and directory DIR_TRANS. The space required depends on the product you are updating. For more information, see the document with additional product-specific information, which is referenced in the Master Guide (or Upgrade Master Guide, respectively) for your product.
Procedure
1. Create a download directory. The directory can be located anywhere on your host. (host is your SAP Host where SUM is running!)
2. Put all software packages and files required during the update into the download directory
