Structure maintenance not provided for extraction MC11V_0SSL

Hi GURUS,

when i am trying to Enhance the Standard Data Source <b>2LIS_11_V_SSL</b> , I am getting this Error Message.

<b>Structure maintenance not provided for extraction MC11V_0SSL .. with Message No :- MCEX152..</b>

Can anyone please help me out on this issue..

hi,

go to RSA6 to get the extract structure name of MC11V_0SSL, then go to SE11 and enhance it there.

Hi,

Try doing this

Go to SE11, give the extract structure name MC11V_0SSL

Then say , Append structure, in that create Z -structure and inside the Z structure try giving the fields you want to add to the structure.

Then you have to write code in user exit to populate the new fields,

Hi,

Actually i dont want to enhance the Structure, i wanted to enhance the Data Source 2LIS_11_V_SSL by moving some fields from RHS to LHS of the Data Source .

But, my problem as of now is , i am not even able to fill the set up tables through LBWE. Its Populating all the other Data Sources except this one.So, i dont understand what went wrong with this Structure.

I guess there is a problem with the Extract Structure as this is not being populated with data through LBWE at all.

Can anyone please suggest me a solution ASAP as i am struck over this.

It is not possible to enhance the ES/DS 2LIS_11_v_SSL . See the hint given in the standard SD extraction document on page 11 .

<i>In the structure MC11V_0SSL, no provision is made for including f urther fields in the extract structure via the Logistics Extract Structures Customizing Cockpit.</i>

Hi Anil,

But actually i require Despatch Data with respect to Plant and Material which is not available in that Data Source.

After moving these Objects to Key Fields in the ODS , i have to assign them to some Source Objects which i am unable to find.But these Fields are available in the LIPS Table from which this DS is picking up the Data from.

Shall i change back the Standard ODS back to normal settings ,In that case i am getting Despatch Data against Un Assigned Plant..

Kindly suggest me a sloution.

Hi,

If I remember correctly, there is a standard ODS(lets say ODS1) which gets the data from this Datasource which gets the values for Characterstics Material,Plant,Customer... in the update rules by looking into other ODS(which gets records from Other DS,lets say ODS2) . So it is nothing but lookup process.

Hi Anil,

Thanks for your reply.Actually i have already deleted the setup talbles now and when i tried to fill the setup tabels again, all the other DS were populated with the DATA apart from the one.

So, i dont know how to rectify the error and populate this particular DS with required Data.

By the way the standard ODS which i was usuing is <b>0SD_O01</b> which is getting data from 2LIS_11_VAITM and 2LIS_11_V_SSL.. The problem is with the second DS.

Hello VK,

Just had a check in our system and found out that there is a logical reason why enhancement of this datasource is not allowed. Please see the following help text provided by SAP. This should answer your question, although it might not provide a solution for the issue you are having.

Diagnosis

Structure MC11V_0SSL concerns a technical extraction structure. The inclusion of additional fields by using the structure maintenance is not part of the procedure for this.

If an extraction structure is used for extracting transaction data from two different business events, then the generic filling of the extraction structure fields from the fundamental communication structure data does not normally occur. An enhancement of structure MC11V_0SSL could then cause the newly included fields from the different events to be filled differently or not at all.

Procedure

Use the fields delivered by SAP for the structure MC11V_0SSL. Check to see whether the additional information you want can be extracted using other structures.

could it be that the structure is in active status and maybe contains some data already. this probably could be the reason for locking?

Hi Harry,

But its not allowing me to enhance teh structure and throwing an error message.

I have even deleted the SetUp Tables and tried to fill them again through SBIW. All the other Data Sources are beeing populated apart from this 2LIS_11_V_SSL Data Source. I seriously Doubt that , some thing went wrong with the Extract Structure.As this time i just tried to Fill the setup tables as usual but still its not poppulating the DS.

Maybe re-activating the datasource 2LIS_11_V_SSL from the business content will help.

Actually i have to enhance the Extract Structure by adding a few fields to the existing Data Source which are required for my reporting.

I have to do this in LBWE , where its not allowing me to do.

I am Getting my DATA from R3 from these 2 Data Sources

1. 2LIS_11_VAITM
2. 2LIS_11_V_SSL

Which i am poppulating into

0SD_O01

Standard Data Store Object(ODS).But in my Reporting Requirement i need Plant wise Despatch Details which i am not getting from the 2LIS_11_V_SSL. So, can anyone suggest me what has to be done to resolve the issue.

I am actually struck at this point, so it would be really greatful if anyone can find a solution ASAP.

Hi,

Enhance the datasource in TX:RSA6. Select the data source and choose change button.

Once you change the datasoure and save it, replicate the datasource.

I am not changing the selection options , i want to add new fields from the LIPS table which are not at present in the Data Source.

Hi,

You can even enhance the Extraction Structure in TX:RSA6. Just select the datasource and click on the 'Enhance Extraction Structure'.
