Hi

Can we use procedures in Crystal reports?

In which scenario we should use procedures?

Hi Folks,

I had gone through the our old threads. I understood that we can use procedures too. 

But any specific reason for using the procedures.

Hi Bhaskar,

There are many reasons you'd want to use a Stored Proc:

1. All Processing is passed over to the database server

2. Ability to generate reports against multiple databases (all logic is inside the SP)

3. SQL logic changes are handled in the SP

and many more.
