The CR 791496 was supposed to be about a feature to let you drop subscription at anytime. Ie., even if the associated DSI connection is down.
In the suggested feature at:
It says this suggestion was implemented via CR 791496, but this is incorrect, at least as of 16.0 SP03 PL05.
When I search the KBA for 791496, it doesn't find anything.
Any update on the status of CR 791496 for dropping a subscription at anytime?
Thanks in advance
Ben
Hi Ben,
As the discussion goes in the SAP Influence website: Dropping subscriptions whenever we want, this CR 791496 is actually to solve another issue of "alter table replication definition" which got fixed in 15.7.1 SP303.
The new feature request CR for this incluence idea should be CR 820663 which has not been provided yet, you may track the implementation status of this CR in KBA 2870683 by marking the KBA as favorite.
Internally we will discuss on the status of this idea and try making the changes there.
Thanks and regards,
Bobo
