status 8 when extracting data

Hello,

I’ve built a generic extractor for attributes and in RSA3 I can see that it works well. I assigned the attribute to an info object and extracted the data in the DEV and got the data. I transported everything to PROD (after it worked in the QA…) but in the PROD it doesn’t work!!! In R3 PROD RSA3 it works, I replicated the data, activated the transfer rule again and replicated the data source but getting status 8 when extracting.

What can it be?

Hi David,

Does system says anything else other than status 8 ?? some runtime dump (Tcode : ST22) , some error in the details screen ??

Check the data basis in the source system.

but in the source system, in RSA3 there are no errors (in the log everything is green)

If you are able to get some data in Rsa3 Of production then there is something wrong with the objects which you have transported.

Replicate the data source.

Activate the transfer rules.

Check if you are able to get the data in psa first.
