Standard task should execute FM and continue

Hi all,

I have defined a new task in my workflow which uses a BOR object type. The BOR contains a function module with two import parameters.

When the workflow is started, it stops at the beginning of my task.

Any idea why does it stop? No agent should be checked.

Additionally, I have no enough logs to search for the reason of this behavior ๐Ÿ˜•

Many thanks in advance

Mar

Hi Marcos,

It's difficult to tell from here what the issue is, but I recommend looking at short dumps first.

I also recommend looking at the the workflow log more closely - to see if there is a reason returned from your BOR method.

Good luck,

Sue

Hi Susan,

thanks a lot. When I tried it one day later, it worked, it seem that something was not synchronized.

This is commonly known as 'The Cinderella Effect' and can be averted when you run transaction SWU_OBUF.  See this wiki for more:

Hi,

What are the parameter you passed to TASK. you can test it in SWO1, paaing the parameter and check is  it running fine or  not.

Also check WF-Batch having  enough authorization or not.

Hi Marcos,

Have you checked by executing the method explicitly?

If it successfully executed then problem in task, check and let us know in which status task got stuck? Execute the task from SWUS and debug it.

And if method itself failed to execute then debug the method from SWO1.
