Standard Roles in Business Objects

Hi,

Are there standard roles that are available for us to copy and assign to the different kinds of BO users - ie, BO Consumer, BO Publisher, etc?

Does anyone know where we can get best practice strategies for setting up BO roles?

Hi Richard,

Have a look at below blog to understand more on Custom Access Levels and its utilization.

I suggest you to prepare a list of possible functional roles in a master Spreadsheet something like the below and create the Cutom Access levels as per the list whereever required.

You have any pre-defined excel sheet like the screenshot that you had posted above?. I want to use that excel sheet as reference. Or have any idea where I can get the excel sheet from?
