Hi
I have some BI reports to display on portal. i have set up the SSO between portal and BW system and it works fine when reports is displayed for first time. But for every components of report(like some value help calender, images, css and JS files as i see in http request trace), it asks for user name / password again.
what you think, could be the problem there?
Is there any way of changing the lifetime or scope(session, request scope) of BI report? May be, that is the reason it is asking for authentication for every internal component request.
Please suggest something on this.
regards
Pranav

Hi,
I wonder, it is related to SSO only.
Please check the SSO settings once again.
*I hope that JAVA to ABAP communication is working, ABAP to JAVA is not working.
*Please check the RSPOR_SETUP screen once again. If everything is green, then no problem.
*And also check BI Diagnostics tool . It will show the exact problem why it is happening.
*Please let me know , if you need further help.
*Please refer the SAP Note: 937697 (Usage of SAP NetWeaver BI Diagnostics & Support Desk Tool)

Thanks,
i will check and update the forum.
what i observed from http watch is that for urls like
(
http://portal:port/sap(sesison id)/bc/bsp/sap/Z*
and
http://portal:port/sap/bw/BEx?
), it doesn't ask to login.
but for the urls starting from (
http://portal:port/sap/bw/Mime/ where js files and images reside
), it asks us to login.
seems strange. do u think it is to do with some access rights or it is a problem with SSO configuration.

Pranav
