Hi all,
I am experiencing a very strange issue.
I am trying to set up SSO from SAP Portal to Infoview. Everything is working but there is one strange behaviour. I have created two URL iViews with a link to infoview as shown below:
The situation is that if I log in the SAP Portal using fqdn and I use the second iView the following error shows:
Account information not recognized: Logon ticket could not be validated by system DP4CLNT002. Message: TICKET_ENCODING_ERROR. Ticket/logon string: AjExMDAgAA9wb3J0YWw6R0FSQ0lNMDmIABNiYXNpY2F1dGhlbnRpY2F0aW9uAQAIR0FSQ0lNMDkCAAMwMDADAANQUDEEAAwyMDExMDQxMjA3MDAFAAQAAAAICgAIR0FSQ0lNMDn/APcwgfQGCSqGSIb3DQEHAqCB5jCB4wIBATELMAkGBSsOAwIaBQAwCwYJKoZIhvcNAQcBMYHDMIHAAgEBMBYwDjEMMAoGA1UEAxMDUFAxAgQ00zFBMAkGBSsOAwIaBQCgXTAYBgkqhkiG9w0BCQMxCwYJKoZIhvcNAQcBMBwGCSqGSIb3DQEJBTEPFw0xMTA0MTIwNzAwMjNaMCMGCSqGSIb3DQEJBDEWBBRBA4Ek6BmujjtEXX8F9K0pEAUnBjAJBgcqhkjOOAQDBC4wLAIUejHOGtxLhqKZxeHxZ!rqrMi8oEQCFH0XqJL8OPBIwc9TnX0lUt1cHTX3
And the strange thing is that it works with Mozilla and Chrome and not in IE 7. I have checked all the internet options, but I am not able to find the misconfiguration.
On the other hand, if using the first iView (non fqdn form) everything works as expected in all browsers.
Does anyone know what the problem could be?
Thank you very much.
Regards
Hi Sebastian,
first thanks a lot for your answer.
Yes, "Integrated Windows Authentication" is enabled. I have checked and disabling it, it works. The thing is that that option needs to be enabled.
Another thing that we have realized is that if performing the same action with an administrator, everything works fine. So it sounds like a rights issue.
What do you think?

Hi,
if it works with other browsers and with IE using an administrator, its a problem with the IE and not with BOE.
I would guess its a GPO handling the IE security settings. Even as a normal user on OS level you can, for sure, use SSO.
I would recommend taking a test client with IE and a normal user. set all IE settings to default and than check if it is working.
