Hi everyone,

I am trying to install BOE XI 3.0 using SQL Server 2005 64 bits to store the repository. Does anyone know if this is supported?

There is a problem when specifying the information about the ODBC, it cannot connect to the database. The error says something

like "... STU000219". I think it can be because of the 64 bits, but not sure.

Hope anyone can help.

Thanks

Hi,

there was no problem with drivers or the 64 bits machine. We finally found out what it was and it is incredible.

When you are prompted during the installatio to write the configuration parameters of the database of the

repository that will be used, in this case SQL Server 2005 64 bits, when you click on the name of the ODBC

created, all of the fields get populated, except for the password field, when you click in the password field to

fill in the data, the field of the database gets erased, although you can still see the name of the DB. So,

if you click next, as no data is given as database name, it gives an error.

Hope this helps to those who may have the same issue.

Thanks
