SQL Error -24988

When I go into the Database Manager there comes a message with displays this error:

-24988 SQL error [sql_exeute SELECT DESCRIPTION,

NUMERIC_VALUE FROM SYSDBA.CONFIGURATION];

-4005,Unknown column name:NUMERIC_VALUE

How can I correct this error message?

This note is for MaxDB Release 7.5 but I have 7.8 and the message appears in the database manager and not in the sap system (t-code like db12,db13 ...)

I´ve updated the Kernel to the newest but problem still the same.

Can it be that this is an error of the DBMGUI?

Because the MaxDB I use is 7.8 and the DBMGUI is 7.6

If yes is there another version of the DBMGUI?

Hi Damian,

Thanks for above information.

You should always use DMBUI and SQL Studio of same release or higher. Lower versions may land up with some issues while working with databases on higher version.

You can give it a try with DMGUI 7.8 and check the results.

Because it´s not in the Service Marketplace.

Hi Damian,

You should have it in the MaxDB installation DVD itself. In case you have MaxDB 7.8 installation DVD you may perform a search for required executable.

I´ve checked it but there is only the installation of the MaxDB not of DMBGUI, inside.
