There's this function group called <b>CNT2</b> which contains a few function modules for Sound Control. I'm not sure how that works, however.

HI Poornanand Mandalika

I don't found the FG CNT2, I'm on a release 4.7.

Have you a different release?

Not sure whether this helps you. But this works and gives sound on your Pres. Server.

Hi Enzo,

I have found that function group on a 4.6C system. I also see that it is there in 4.7 anymore....:-(

I'll let you know if I find something.

Anand Mandalika.

Hi Anand

I tried those FMs some time ago but could not achieve them to work. It would be nice if someone achieves and shares the how-to.

Hi,

You can achieve this my settings the options in the SAP Layout. Check the Last button(Next to the HELP Button) on the Application Menu bar. View the options and activate the Check boxes mentioned in the MESSAGES Frame.

Hi Enzo,

You SAP GUI window has got some local settings (obviously, these are user-specific) where there's an option to <i>beep at message</i>. Other than that, I don't think it's possible to have sounds for other actions.
