I've created a predefined property and filled the parameters
- Allowed Values (comma separated values)
- Default Sorting = Ascending
When I upload a document and want to fill the properties, the Allowed Values appears in the order they have been entered in the "Allowed Values" parameter, and not sorted.
Does someone know how to make it appears sorted ?
Thank you and kind regards
Vincent
Hi,
my guess is the DefaultSorting value gets important when you use this property to sort after it in the navigation UI.
Did you translate you properties already to see if the sorting might work on the translation only?
Maybe you should open a ticket to clarify this with SAP support.

Sascha

I sascha,
I did already worked with bundle files, and this is working the same.
I did also opened an OSS message, and this is their answer "Sorting ascending/descending attribute for the property is referring to
the Navigation iView.", ie what you suggest, but I do not "agree".
This is what I answered them. What is you feeling about this ?

If I understand your statement, it is not possible to sort automatically the display order of the allowed values.
But this should be possible, as you can not imagine to have a combo box, with a list of 20 values, that you could not sort according to the bundle file.
On the other hand, I do not understand how the "Sorting ascending/descending attribute for the property is refered to
the Navigation iView". In the Navigation iView, you refers to a LayoutSet, that refers to "CollectionRenderer" where you define two parameters : "Property for Sorting" and "Sorting Mode".
In any case the same property could be displaied in a different sorting order in different iViews (this is the purpose of the layout set).

Thank you for your help
