Sort and filter not working extended standard fiori app

Hi Experts , 

We extended a standard fiori app and new fields been added in the odata service ,but sort and filter features  not working for newly added fields. Let me know if anyone faced similar issue

are those field from db?

Did you extend the OData using SEGW transaction?  If so, then you should check the properties and see if sort and filter checkbox is checked for the new field.

Hello, I do face the similar issue. The new Z-field has the additional prefix 'FF..' when I add them as a new filter. Is your problem solved?

those check box are information only, it is not going to do sorting/filtering for you.
