SOLMAN 7.2 software required for new installation

Hi Team,

I am new to installing SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and would appreciate your guidance on the necessary software and steps to begin the installation process.

Application: SAP Solution Manager 7.2
Database: DB2 LUW 11.5
Operating System: AIX 7.3

Could you please recommend the required installation packages and any additional resources I should review to get started with the installation?

Hi Maladri,

The planning a new system installation page states the detailed steps required:

1. Plan a system change in maintenance planner.
2. Download the Stack XML and its corresponding stack.
3. Download the initial installation archives from SAP Support Portal  Software Downloads.
4. Install a new system using Software Provisioning Manager.
5. Update the system using Software Update Manager.

Following exactly the steps and the initial installation archives will be included in the generated pdf files in maintenance planner. Simply clicking on the file names could download them.
