Hi
We need to install SolMan 7.2. Preferably on SQL Server, so I understand it needs to be Enterprise Edition.
Looking at this https://blogs.sap.com/2016/02/16/solution-manager-72-installation-and-configuration-i-installations/, it appears it needs to be SQL 2012, with a default instance
Does it need to be 2012 - most of our estate is now SQL 2016?
Does it need to be a default instance - all of our estate has a named instance?
Can it exist in an existing instance, or does it need to be on its own?
Why does it need to be Enterprise - what does it use that is limited to Enterprise Edition.
If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful
cheers
pete
