solman 7.1 configuration issue in basic configuration

Dear Team,

I strucked up in the phase basic BW Related  configuration 6.0.

when i executed RSA1 tcode it came pop up with activate, replicate,cancel.

Instead of choosing activate i selected cancel.

Again i went in that tcode but it is not displaying which infocube to be activated and how to activate again to complete the configuration.

Pls helpme out to overcome this issue.

Hi,

  Please log off and login and check.

If not, try to right click on the BW object and try to activate it.

Dear Vimal,

I checked by log off and logon then also it is entering into RSA1 directly. i re executed step 6 and now  it is showing all green colour.

All showed green and completed my configuration.want me to conform whether it is activated or not.

In RSA1 i could not able to find BW objects... where to activate that and how....

But I would suggest you  to check your BW Team to confirm whether the objects are activated or not.

They have better understanding on business objects than us.

Since you got the green signal , i feel that you can proceed further.

Hi,

If there is no active BW component available.
You can check this in table "CVERS_ACT",

Normally when BW is active there should be a entry, to fix the error
we need to activate it by running

Function module "RS_SET_ACTIVE_COMPONENT_FLAG" in SE37 with
I_ACTIVE_FLAG = 'X' which will set the flag .

Before that please also ensure below points are implemented .

979581 - Installing and configuring the CCMS BI Content:

From note 979581 - point 3:

3.  You must perform some basic BI configurations:

a) For BI clients, you must define a logical system name in
   transaction SCC4. The logical system should have the form
   {SysID}CLNT{client} (for example, SYSCLNT001 for the system ID
   and client 001).

b) The so-called MYSELF source system of the BI must exist and be

   active. Check this by calling transaction RSA1. When you call

   this transaction, the MYSELF source system is semi-automatically

   created, if it does not exist yet. Answer "no" or "activate only"

   to dialog boxes  with the question "also replicate metadata?" (or

   similar).

Thanks for your much reply and help to solve my issue as it showed green and i didnt have BI system in my landscape... so i left that and completed configuration successfully...

Dear Vimal,

I have problem now how to approve SPS in solman 7.1.

If i execute SOLMAN_WORKCENTER it displays that you are not assigned to work center....

What i want to do for getting approval for my dev system.

Hi,

Please have a look at the user administration guide available at

https://service.sap.com/diagnostics

section

[SOLMAN.DUAL.ADMIN]: SOLMAN Admin user

Possibly user hasn't the following roles in productive system:

SAP_SMWORK_ *
SAP_SMWORK_DIAG

Please verify that.

If you wish a shortcut, here as follows.

Usage
-----------
Step 1) Add packages to download basket on SAP Support Market Place alias /patches

Step 2) Logon to Solman and run SE37

/TMWFLOW/MO_UI_BASKET_AUTHORIZ

I_OSS_RFC = SAP-OSS

Select package + confirm

Step 3) Run SAP Download Manager --> Download the selected and approved packages
