can someone help me on how to compare two smarform layouts (one in developer system and other in quality system)?

hello,

there is a option,for which goto utilities->form information (download the smartform information).copy the information in a word file.do this for both systems.

compare the word files from both systems.you can get the difference easily.

yes i do know that..but now my requirement is that ,i have changed layouts of a smartform and again it cameback to me in next CR...so now i need to compare the layout before and after...how can i achieve this?

compare the smartforms code in different server using se39 tocde.

As I told you you cannot compare unless you do it manually,

Why dont you download the copy from Q and upload it to Dev and make chnages to it?

@shambhu: it was moved to production system.but now it came with some alignment problems.so i need to track the exact changes in layout which i made before....

You made some changes in D, moved that to Q and then to Prd.

Now you want to know what changes we made exactly before the changes hit Prd.

I dont think that is posible unless you had downloaded a production copy before your changes was moved.

There is no version management for Smartform.

You can download the form and compare though.

Other way is you have to compare manually.
