Slow forum access while waiting on "www.sybase.com"

For the last days, my access to this forum has been really slow. Oddly, pages are shown as fast as usually (say, within 1-2 seconds, which is alright with me) but then the browser's status bar shows "Waiting for www.sybase.com..." for about one minute(!) and seems to prevent the page from being completely rendered.

Additionally, trying to add a comment failed several times, too (or I simply did not wait long enough?).

This appears on different boxes in different networks, so I don't think it's a browser issue (I'm using FF 36, FWIW).

Is that a known behaviour?

FWIW, "www.sybase.com" returns a 110 timeout.

Yep, I noticed the same thing over the weekend. We're looking into the problem...

The problem should be corrected: there were some out-of-date references to resources on sybase.com still lingering on each of the generated forum pages. I have removed them.

Wow, even commenting goes fast again, thanks!

So www.sybase.com has been retired now? (Where http://dcx.sybase.com/index.html is running fine...)

Systems that have used the sybase.com domain have been slowly moving to sap.com over the past year or so. For example, dcx.sybase.com now resides on http://dcx.sap.com/ - if you go to the former you will be redirected to the latter.

Hm, the DCX homepage still tells "http://dcx.sybase.com/index.html" for me, the same is true for the individual topics like http://dcx.sybase.com/index.html#1201/en/sqlanywhere_en12/help_top_index.htm... - if there is a redirection, it's hidden from me:)
