Hi,
>You can choose whether to create configuration objects immediately or simulate object creation. No objects are created or modified in simulation mode. However, the generation log provides an overview of the individual actions that would be performed in the real creation mode.

hi
Simulation is nothing but doing the work virtually (not real). So u have chance of knowing coming errors or failures without actually doing
It is to do things without actually updating anything - just to forsee how the process will behave.

Hi,
Simulation is nothing but, sending the data to the application through some tool.
Ex: we can send the data to XI via RWB-Compo moniIE----Test
And also through HTTP Test Tool also we can send the data to xi
Some time its not possible to send the data from source application, and we have to test whether the target application is getting update or not, so Instead of sending the data from the source application we can do the simulation like this
