Signavio Scenario Modelling

Hi Team,

How can I model scenarios in Signavio while keeping perspective of where the model is linked in to the bigger picture? I'm thinking of something similar to the Solution Value Flows you see in the Process Navigator but modelled within Signavio?

Ideally, I want the ability to maximize and minimize different process levels until I've drilled down to our bottom layer (Level 7 in this instance).Solution Value Flow.png

Hello TC3,

many thanks for your question. There exist various options within SAP Signavio to display hierarchies. Please find some ideas below:

  1. Leverage Value Chain Diagrams/Navigation Maps:
    • Value Chain Diagrams are ideal for representing high-level process flows (Level 1 or 2).
    • You can link each high-level process to more detailed BPMN diagrams or Process Models.
    • This allows users to click through to drill down into lower levels (like in Solution Value Flow).
    • E-Learning: Navigation Maps and Value Chains ; Documentation: Process Hierarchy

  2. Use Folders for structuring levels:
    • Organize your processes into nested folders representing different process levels (Level 1 to Level 7).
    • Each folder should contain models corresponding to that particular level.

  3. Create navigable links between diagrams
    • Sub-processes within a BPMN model can be linked to more detailed models (like Level 4 or Level 5).
    • When viewing the diagram in the Collaboration Hub, users can click on sub-process icons to navigate deeper.

Hope that helps. In case of further questions feel free to reach out to your SAP Signavio contact.

Warm regards,
Cäcilia
