Sign changed for Restricted key figures

Hi All,

I was wondering if anybody has come across a similar issue before. I have a query that uses restricted key figures and it is changing a negative number into positives, but positive numbers stay the same.

I've looked at the figure in the original cube and the sign is correct, and it also comes up correctly if I use a structure to restrict transactions.

Thanks,

Kevin

Hi,

As you mentioned that for -ve sign its getting  +ve but for +ve it remains the same.

So that means in some of your keyfigure ABS function is being used which returns the absolute value.

Kindly check the same in all your formulas.

Hope that helps.

Regards,

AL

Hi,

Check the Display properties for that particular Key Figure by right clicking and verify for check or un check +/- Indicator.

Thanks & Regards,

check in your key figure properties for your RKF whether Sign change is ticked as Raman said.

Hi Kevin,

Am not sure whether this would help you or not.

At Query properties, there is a option Display +/-  in parenthesis

At Key figure properties there is option Sign change.(+/- , Reverse sign).

Please check the above options, in any one of the option may be used for your RKF.

Thanks
