Should BO be installed to work with SDK?

Hi All,

I'm using .NET BOE SDK to develop an application to manage the security settings in the Business objects. To work with the BO-SDK(All sdk including RAS SDK, BOE SDK, etc.,), should my machine contain Business objects installed? Or is it enough to have the BO SDK alone to develop my application?

It is enough to just have the SDK installed to develop, but of course you could not test it until you had access to a full blown enterprise install.

Thanks Jason. I have one more doubt. Lets consider that I have developed a .NET application using BO-SDK . I need to install the application in some other machines. Should the target machines have the BO installed? or the SDK alone is enough to run the application ?
