hi friends,

Proxy's are adapter less Integration , but for in the case of server proxy we configure

XI adapter? explain why?

pls help on this.

Hi,

In Case of Receiver means you have to use the receiver adapter compulsary.

Here we have to use XI Adapter, this is used because to pass the XML Message to the receiver end. here we are not doing any process.This is just to pass the xml message only.

That is because incase of server proxy XI acts the client and it gives HTTP request to the server proxy.

XI Adapter is just a wrpper for connecting to pipeline of the integration server directory. You dont specify any conversion rules or something.. its the XML posted directly to the pipeline..!!
