HI,
I'm trying to figure out, how I could setup SSB CF to leverage it for example in IOT Application Enablement.
Typically in CF I have to subscribe to a saas subscription. Unfortunately in CF Sub Account this is "marked" as "Test". So is this working / useful / an official solution?
In Addition in the online help the subscription is not mentioned.
So what's the way to go forward?
Is SSB CF depending/referencing on SSB neo?
Thanks for any kind of feedback.
Best regards,
Rainer
Hi Rainer,
Yes subscription is required to grant the tenants authorization to Smart Business Service scopes. There looks like an issue with the tile metadata presently and this is the default text that is being displayed. We will look into this and resolve at the earliest. Subscription to the application is a common activity to be performed in both NEO and CF environments.
Smart Business Service in CF is an independent offering from the NEO version and is documented at https://help.sap.com/viewer/6a4563286d06419cb9927ef448c67432/Cloud/en-US . In the cloud foundry offering, the visualizations for analytics can only be consumed via WebIDE using the KPI controls available as part of IoT Application template.
You can find some of the consumption scenarios in the following videos:

For further questions on Smart Business Service please get in touch with us at smartbusiness@sap.com and we could provide more information.
Thanks and best regards,
Prem

Dear Prem,
thanks for your feedback. I`m getting confused more and more. After setting up IoT AE I see some smartbusiness related tiles - I expect that is happening because of the created IOT AE roles, as I haven't done any specific SSB related steps.
If i got your answers right, if I want a full blown "SSB" Environment in IoT AE, I have to activate the SSB on NEO, right?
I expect I will ask your colleagues using the provided email address to answer the different questions.
Best regards,
Rainer
