When i change my datasource, the properties in Current Data Source:  are correct, but when i run the report the data is still coming from the old data source.  Show SQL Query shows the old db not the new data source.  What am i doing incorrectly?

Hi Todd,

What version of Crystal Reports do you use?

What database are you reporting against?

When you set the datasource, have you tried setting it for 'each' table as opposed to directly changing the connection?

So, you'd highlight the first table in the current source, highlight the corresponding table in the new datasource and click 'update'. Repeat this for each table.

Hi Todd,

Do you have any sub reports ?  If so, have you updated datasource for these sub reports also with new one ?

Also for test purpose, go in create new connection -- connect to new datasource -- now update with old datasource once again.  After this click on 'Verify Database' option under database menu and check.

Also while updating, is it is asking for prompt values ? (if you have any prompts in the report)

Thanks,
