Service Pack with patch installation

Hi,

Actually confused on how to do an update. We are currently on 4.2 SP06 and want to go to 4.2 SP08 Patch 500 to remediate a SSRF Vulnerability.

Do I install the base SP08 (Installation and Upgrade) and then the patch SP08 patch 500 (from Support packages and patches) or can i install the SP08 patch 500 directly?.

you can install Sp8 p500 directly on top of Sp6.
download one installer for 4.2 sp8 p500 from suypport packages and patches.

yes, there are 2 files. both are part of single multi-part self extracting rar archive
