Hi,
I'm planning to give my sap SEM certification next month.I'm following help.sap.com material.Do i have to study any additional documentation other than help documentation.
In service market place i have seen only one certification exam i.e, MYSAP FINANCIALS - SEM Certification(2002).
Is this the certification exam for BW-SEM people?
Thanks for your suggetions,
Saritha.

Hello Sarita,
As the former SEM-BPS is now part of the BW (and called BW-BPS) there is also a new BI certification (application consultant). It comprises what used to be the BW as well as the BW-BPS. So such a certification might be interesting for you as well. You can find material in the service market place as well (look for BI certification).
Best regards,
Gerd Schoeffl,

Hi,
You can go to the SAP service market place and look for the quick link "certification" (or use http://service.sap.com/certification). Go to "consultant certification" and look for SAPNetWeaver. There you will find an entry "Solution Consultant". Look for the entry for BI. You can get a description (clicking on the field "language") and description of the necessary courses (field "curriculum").
Best regards,
Gerd Schoeffl
Hi Saritha,
Well - that used to be the case. With SAP NetWeaver04 (BW 3.5) BPS is now part of BI. Thus if you want to get a certification in BPS you have to get the BI Solution Consultant certification. This certification and a new BW-BPS course (BW370) are available since this fall.
If you want to get certified in CPM, BCS etc. you still have to take a SEM certification exam.
Best regards,
Gerd
