I have created a copy of the SAP Standard Content Administration Role and have provided the required entry points for all the desired worksets like Portal Content Translation, KM Content, Portal Content etc.
I have assigned this modified role to an end user but for some reason I am not able to see the Second Level Navigation as seen in the SAP Standard Content Administration Role.
Is there something that needs to be done or have I missed on some property of the role to be set.
Hi Shivkumar ,
You must have observed that the copied content admin role (or even copied as a delta link) will first have a workset named Content Administration as its entry point (appearing in second level nav) . This workset will further have all other worksets like KM content etc .
Cut all these worksets and directly paste it to the role .In the end delete the Content Adminstration workset and you are done.
This will work .

Thanks for the response. As a matter of fact I have done exactly as you have mentioned and I am not able to see the second level navigation. Furthermore I have actually created a copy of the SAP Standard Content Administration role and not a delta link.

Hi
You need to copy the role pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/administrator/content_admin/com.sap.portal.content_admin_role
Rename the role and assign this role to the end user. There is no need to mark the entry points for any workset as it is already done in the standard role.
If it throws error or not able to access, you may have to set permission as mentioned in the below forum
