Schedule data deletion from SAC Analytical Model

Hi,

I have snapshot scenario to use Import data connection for Analytical model and need to store data daily in SAC for last one month data and delete older than 30 days from Analytical model. Can anyone please suggest how to schedule delete data from Analytical model older than 30 days ?

Hi enoch.abe,

Workaround: maintain the current month as a separate dimension in the source. In SAC, import setting select clean and replace a subset of data => scope dimension as the current month.

In this case, the system will automatically clean the existing data and replace the current month data.

Say for example you have data stored in SAC up to June month, then for July it will clean the existing June data and replace the July data, now July data is only stored in SAC.

In the new model type, we have the flexibility to maintain the current month dimension by adding the function now() in the calculated column, but in the classic account model, we don't have that type of flexibility have to maintain in the source.
