Schedule an APO process chain from CPS

Hello to all,

I would like to know if i can schedule an APO process chain from CPS.

In other words, i have already defined a chain in my APO system, in the transaction RSPC, that involves two systems and multiple jobs. Can i reuse this chains by triggering them from CPS?

I case this is possible, ¿It make sence to do it that way? ¿Anyone know the SAP recommendation about this?

Hello,

Yes that makes definite sense. However, for visibility it can be better to create a CPS chain that schedules the jobs over multiple systems of course. But that would mean that you have to adjust your process chain.

The method to schedule the process chain is:

- Run SAP_BW_ImportProcessChains to import your process chain

- Run SAP_BW_ProcessChainRun to execute and follow your process chain in APO
