scenario without mapping

Hi

I have a idoc to http scenario where i don´t need any mapping. I have heard that it is possible to do a "gateway" setup where you only need to set up the communication. Is this possible?

unless there is no req of major message transformation mapping is not required. and this is true to ahve only communication setup

Thank you, the IDOC scenario works fine.

If i for example have a file-to-file scenario where no mapping is needed. I still have to create two message interfaces in the IR right?

yes u can use two interfaces....but again u can have file-file transmitted using xi without IR

If u dont want the mapping step in File-to-File scenario, then it would be better to bypass whole Integration Repository

Gateway in the sense, wht u r referring here, u mean to bypass the scenario without using any IR objects. If yes then it can be done. But the one thing is You have to import IDOC into IR.
