Scaling of Solution Manager

HI,

We have very good hardware resource for our solman 7.0 SP27 its close to 8000 SAPS for both CI and DI. From OS lvl I see that resource utilization is not optimal. we are using hardly 35% of available resources.

we have following scenarios in place

RCA, system monitoring, system admn, project management, CUA, EWA, BPM, Charm and SLR.

we have over 140 servers connected to single solman. in recent time we are seeing that performanc eof solman has taken a hit due to large number of RFC calls and gw calls.

we also have additional dialog instance with 30 dia WP and 12 BKG

Can anyone suggest me best practice for tuning solman. I am looking more towards parameters for RFC and gw.
