Saving a Business Objects Report in local disk

Former Member

Hi everyone,

We're working in SAP Business Objects version 4.1 SP1.

We want to create a publication in order to save multiple reports in .pdf file type in the local disk.

We indicate the folder where we want to save our files in the destinations area. We are controlling the process by looking at the log, which is correct. Bu when we go to the folder that we have indicated, we realise that is empty.

We don't know what's going wrong. Could you help us?

Many thanks,

Queralt.

Is the folder on network drive or on BO server?

Also make sure the UNC path mentioned is correct and accessible by the username mentioned in the schedule.

Just to test the publication can you also try to schedule to some other destination? for e.g. email or to someones inbox. See if that works or not.

if its a windows Env then your SIA should be running with the domain account and it should have the read\write access to the same direct.

try scheduling any test report to same locaion and see if its success, then you can try with publicaion.
