SAPGUI for Java 7.50 rev 2 on Mac HS 10.13.3 hangs and I have to force quit. Any suggestions

Just installed SAPGUI for Java 7.50 rev 2 (075000040200) on Mac HS 10.13.3.

Works for the most part but I can get it to crash consistently.

The easiest way is for me to start SAP Business Workplace.

When I try that the application just hangs with spinning beachball and I have to force quit the app.

I've deleted the "SAP" folder in ~/Library/Preferences and I've delete the JAVA VM cache.

Neither helped.

Any suggestions?

SAPGUI for Java 7.50 rev 3 on Mac HS 10.13.5 also hangs.

E.g.: I can open transaction PA20 fine, but transaction SM04 totally freezes SAP GUI.

The same on SAPGUI for Java 7.50 rev 2. Had to revert back to SAPGUI for Java 7.50 rev 1 which works fine.
