SAP WM RF Offline Functionality

Dear Experts,

We have a request from a customer to define offline RF scanners for their warehouse activities.

I am aware that we can use iTS mobile for an online mode, but how do we do it for an offline mode.

Does SAP have any design for this without using external softwares.

PS: We cannot use online mode due to the restrictions of network at the premises.

Hi Martin,

This would be a question for the application area. From the ITSmobile perspective, it depends on the application running in the server. (The ITSmobile only translates dynpros to HTML code; the application still runs on the server).

Nevertheless, you would need to create a custom code, that use some sort of temporary database, to collect application (SAP) data, and upon getting a network connection, synchronizes the information (with all necessary application validation). Maybe the SAP Screen Personas, with the Slipstream Engine along heavy use of scripting, could do the trick. But I don't have anything concrete to share.
